Ensnaring Wallpaper, Floral & Geometric
All acts of art contain a bit of divine magic as the Muses smile upon those who espouse their domain through creation.
Wallpaper, if left alone long enough, takes on a life of its own due to that divine spark. Particularly tricky are floral and geometric patterns, which can snare and trap creatures that venture too close.
Floral Wallpaper: A riot of color that almost imperceptible sways in an unfelt breeze (2:6 to spot). It is often present in seemingly safe areas where other dungeon creatures are not, to avoid damage and scraping. Can cause allergies. Can trigger an encounter check as monsters can hide in its 2D surface. Can spread like weeds.
Geometric Wallpaper: High contrast, criss-crossing patterns and bars that span the room. The rooms will occasionally groan like an old wooden house with the pent-up energy in those patterns. When a spell goes off in the room, the bars will spring across any door, window, or opening like a patterned portcullis.
